According Landis & Gyr records, 100,000 cards with a face value of 120 units were produced in 1989 as they had been ordered by the paraguayan telephone company Antelco, whose logo is printed on cards, together with 50 cardphones, through a Belgian Landis & Gyr agent. Maybe cause a payment problem, the cards and correspondent phones were never delivered to Paraguay: most cards were destroyed, but a part of them, of course all unused, reached the collectors' market. According to our opinion, this card should be accepted as Paraguay, but with the limitation that it has never used there.
