| The coloured card that we introduce here is one of the most interesting fake phonecards. Lots of words have been said on this card, but now we know without any doubt that: first, public phones capable to read magnetic phonecards have never been installed in East Germany; and second, up to now, as far as we know, it doesn't exist any of these cards with a kind of magnetization that can be used by telephones. The magstripe, to be honest, is present on the card, and some magnetized cards have been seen indeed, but they carried the kind of magnetization used by parking or video stores card readers, quite different by the telephonic magnetization. |
